The Cyder Press is a great pub in Weare Giffard that offers an excellent bed and breakfast. Freddie Beer (left), who died a few years ago, is a descendant of Elizabeth Beer's family, the publicans of the Anchor, another pub in Weare Giffard, long since closed.
